My husband and I spent one night at the Wort Hotel in Jackson before going to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and then returned to Jackson for three nights at Inn on the Creek. The Wort is a very exclusive hotel where we had a suite. No complaints at all about the Wort (and it was fabulous) but I would recommend Inn on the Creek over it. The Inn has only nine rooms/suites and our room had a large hot tub with a fireplace beside it within the bedroom. (There is also a tub/shower combo in the bathroom.) We happened to arrive at 6 PM which is the wine/beer/cheese hour. It was such a pleasure to mingle with a small group of other guests and compare travel experiences and get/give advice on what to do and where to go, Happy Hour is held in the dining area that makes you feel right at home--like you are in a friend's dining/kitchen area. Breakfast is served there each AM as well with a great variety of breakfast food, including homemade banana bread, egg casserole, fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed OJ (just to mention a few items), along with the traditional choices of yogurt/granola, cereal, English muffins, etc. At breakfast this AM, it was like getting together with the family again. Throughout the day, muffins and fresh-baked cookies were available. Hailey (the owner's daughter and a Georgetown graduate) and her husband Nate were friendly and accommodating. There is a DVD library if you want to watch a movie in your room, The outside area is VERY attractive on all four sides of the inn that is set on a creek. It really is picturesque with the gazebo and other attractive sitting/dining areas they have created. The inn is also located within easy walking distance of the main shopping/restaurant area (2 blocks). If you do stay here, I HIGHLY recommend you make reservations one night at the Bar J Chuckwagon--dinner & the most entertaining show I think I have ever seen. (Food was OK but the show is worth the entire price.) It is located about 10-15 minutes by car from the inn. The singer/musicians (fiddler, banjo player, bass, guitars, and much more) are beyond incredible and their banter is really funny. Trust me, you will be entertained and leave happy. They do not serve alcohol but I understand you can bring your own (although I didn't notice anyone doing so). Make reservations and get there early.

Great accommodation, exceptional staff and rare and exciting opportunity to meet other adventurous and interesting people from other states. During a home cooked breakfast guests shared a variety of places to visit in the area along with the previous days interaction with park wildlife. Great time!

Room Tip: The queen suite way exceptional!

What a wonderful surprise it was to find such an amazing B&B that gladly takes pets! We loved our short stay at Inn on the Creek. We were met and shown to our room by a very professional staff member; offered drinks in the evening and an incredible breakfast in the morning. They have a very relaxing patio that faces the creek for sitting with a glass or wine and reading a book. Rooms were super quiet and so comfortable. We could not have asked for a better stay! We will be back!

Room Tip: Take the advice for dinner options in town and if you want a bottle of wine, there is a great wine s...

If you ever stay in Jackson, WY, we highly recommend the Inn on the Creek. The owners, Casey and Amy, are long-time hotel proprietors and really know customer service. Lindsey, the Innkeeper, is just an amazing personality who will truly make you feel at home. Our room had a kitchen and opened up to the creek--lots of birds and ducks. Breakfast and a happy hour are included in the room rate. You get to spend quality time with Casey, Amy, Lindsey, and the other people staying at the Inn. We had an excellent time and look forward to staying again on a future visit.

My husband and I have been to Jackson Hole a couple times before, but this was our first time at the Inn. And we were blown away! The breakfast each morning was freshly made with local ingredients, and was beyond delicious. The fresh baked cookies every afternoon and social hour were also a definite plus. Location wise, the Inn is situated perfectly to downtown Jackson. We could walk the few blocks to find nice restaurants and entertainment, and then return to a quite night of sleep. We also brought our dog with us, as the Inn is pet friendly. Lindsey and Sarah (Inn staff) were so friendly and easy to visit with. They gave us tips on places to see, and recommended delicious restaurants. We've already started planning our next trip here!

Room Tip: We stayed in a creek-side room, which was so peaceful. HUGE bathroom with two sinks, perfect for cou...

We were ending a really great week in Jackson Hole when a blizzard hit and the airport closed! The hotel we had been staying at was sold out but they called the Inn On The Creek and got us situated there. Oddly we had walked past the Inn a couple times during the week and i thought it looked like a neat place. What a great find! Our room was real nice with a view of the river rolling by. We have never stayed at a b&b before so we weren't sure if it would be frilly and frou frou, but it was fantastic. The innkeepers could not have been nicer and we enjoyed wine and snacks in the afternoon as a great homemade breakfast the next morning. The food was great. It was fun talking with them and they were really helpful. We ended up staying less than 24 hrs but we hope to be back at the Inn when we go through Jackson during the summer.

Room Tip: We liked the swan room
