I arrived in Laramie late. The desk clerk was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful. Got me a great room In a quiet location even though there was student athletic groups at the location.
My room was very clean and comfortable. I even got a discount for breakfast at the adjoining Perkins restaurant.
Great room, service and all around experience.

Stayed there last week on our way through. This was the fifth time we have stayed there. As usual, very friendly desk clerk and bartender. Two things that I would change back however. 1. No TV channel guide on a piece of paper that can just be glanced at instead of having to scroll through the complete channel listings on the TV info channel. 2. No dark curtains on the windows. Only sheers. Makes it a little tough sleeping in when the room is on the east side. Thanks, Wylie B.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your comments and review of your recent stay with us at the Holiday Inn Laramie. Our goal is to consistently deliver and satisfy all guest needs. We recently added HDTV and updated our channel guide list stands that are now replaced next to each TV. In addition, all our rooms have black-out drapes and we are researching why they had been removed from the room you were in. We appreciate you bringing this to our atention.

Please contact me directly to set up your next reservation. We truly look forward to the opportunity of serving you in the future.

This is one of the BEST Holiday Inns I have stayed at! The hotel is new and very appealing on the outside. Inside it is even nicer. The lobby is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful as well. The beds are very soft and comfortable. The rooms have flat screen tvs, micro/fridge and spacious bathrooms with lots of counter space. The pool/hot tub area looked cozy and clean, but I did not use them. I did use the fitness center and it has a treadmill, bike and a weight machine. The hotel is in a great location as well. It is very close to the University of Wyoming and has many restaurants within walking distance, as well as a Perkins attached to the hotel itself. I enjoyed my stay very much and will absolutely stay here again!

Room Tip: As usual, I avoid rooms next to stair wells, ice machines and elevators.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and had a great stay. The people are friendly, everything is clean and it is close to the campus. They take care of you with the fine details like cookies & lemon water when you sign in, ear plugs in your room, water in the workout room, etc. We also took a swam in the pool and hot tub. It was very clean and enjoyable. Although there isn't a breakfast in the morning Perkins is attached and you recieve a hotel discount. This worked great for us. Traveling with 9 & 11 year old.

Room Tip: if you are getting a pull out bed ask for a larger room - with the 2 queens there just isn't eno...

We made our reservations a couple weeks in advance of the Turf Wars (annual indoor soccer tournament in Laramie) to guarantee we got a room with two queen beds. The wife, over the phone, stressed the importance of two queen beds for our family of four and was told that the room had been reserved.

Well, when we showed up, there were no two-queen rooms available. All that had been "blocked" for our soccer teams were king rooms. All they had available were king rooms, and we could purchase an additional king room if we wanted. WTF? No, we didn't want to pay for two rooms. If we would have known it was going to be an issue, we would have gotten a room at the Hilton down the street (the one with a continental breakfast and closer to the soccer fields), but we were assured that two queens wouldn't be a problem.

So, we asked or a roll-away, but were told they had already all been reserved. We asked what they were going to do for us, since this was their mistake and not ours. They told us we could stay at a hotel on the far side of town and they would honor the rate. We had stayed at the hotel they mentioned at last years Turf Wars and didn't want to stay there again because there was too much driving involved. So, we took our crappy room.

Once we got to the room, we realized that sleeping on the floor would suck, so the wife went back down to the lobby to try to get the second room that was mentioned earlier. So much for an inexpensive weekend out of town...

Needless to say, someone else had already taken that room and there were no more rooms available. On the way back to the room, the wife happened to see a maintenance guy putting a roll-away in a storage room and asked if he could bring it to our room. He politely did after changing the bedding. So, we probably screwed someone else out of their reserved roll-away, but getting screwed over seemed to be par for the course that weekend at the Holiday Inn.

Our room was never cleaned by housekeeping. We had the "Do Not Disturb" sign out for part of the morning, but thought someone would clean the room late morning or early afternoon -- they didn't.

I came to find out that people who complained louder than the wife and I got free breakfasts at the attached Perkins. All we got was a roll-away we had to snake from a maintenance guy, and we still had to have a kid sleep on the floor.

Someone made a mistake when we booked our room, and no one really seemed willing to make things right. The room itself was okay and the pool was small but clean. I guess if our sleeping arrangements hadn't sucked and the room would have been cleaned (or if they had comped us some breakfasts or something), it would have been a decent stay.

Lesson learned: if you stay here and they flub-up your reservation, you need to turn into a raging buttwipe to get any kind of attempt to make it right.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your comments and review of your recent stay with us at the Holiday Inn Laramie. I truly apologize you experienced a less than our “Perfect 10” standard. Our goal is to consistently deliver and satisfy all guest requests and room type preferences. On high occupancy days, such as your arrival date, it is sometimes hard to comply with all guest wishes. You will be happy to know that, as a result of guest feedback like yours, we have implemented the following changes:

1. We will continue coaching our Front Desk Team to follow our reservation script and not promise something we cannot deliver.
2. We check Do Not Disturb signs up to the time the Housekeeping Department closes, which this past Saturday was 2:00p.m. After this time we are to communicate to the guest that if services are needed to contact the Front Desk and we will provide room cleaning services when requested. Additional coaching has been provided to our Team in relation to this standard.
3. In the event a team group planner calls for a block of rooms with two beds, however would accept kings only as one of our teams did this past weekend, we will help this group planner find a hotel that can offer two beds at the time of booking.

Again, I truly apologize you did not experience our “Perfect 10” service. I will promise your next stay will be a ‘Perfect 10”. Please contact me at ddisney@timberlinehotels.com once you have confirmed dates for your next stay with us, I will personally confirm your preferences and make it right with you!

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Hot tub and pool were very nice. 10% off meals at the adjacent Perkins. My only complaint was the shower had too high of water pressure and they did not provide us with a blanket or comforter, just a sheet. The front desk got me a comforter quickly, so it was resolved easily. I'd stay here agin in a minute!
