“fun time”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

My husband & I visited Wyoming in late June 2013. We went on the chuckwagon dinner with Castagno Outfitters. We had a great time. The ride was relaxing, in a covered wagon, the driver was friendly, knowledgeable and kept us entertained. The dinner was delicious as well, even had entertainment.

“Family fun, great food and beautiful land”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

We joined this chuck wagon excursion due to it's proximity to our Luton Cabin in the area of Moran. Our cowboy Tyler was very pleasant and had many stories to tell on our ride out to the location of the cook out and meal. There was just our wagon with about 15 people. There is a port a potty there for the necessities. The two cowboys who were on site, Carol and another nice young man, welcomed us and had all but the steaks ready. Carol cooked the steaks to the desired doneness and the other young man had his guitar and sang songs. There was a brief line dancing opportunity too. Carol brought around the leftover brownies and corn bread. She even wrapped it up "to go". I can't compare this group to any others but I found this to be a nice family event, not crowded or hurried.

“Great time, great dinner”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

We took the roughly 30 min wagon ride with Ryan leading the team of horses. Ryan gives much background and information about pioneer wagon trains and horse powered travel. The views of the Buffalo River valley were nice. The meal was very good and Charlie sang cowboy songs and played his guitar. We had lots of fun.

“We had a great time!”
Reviewed 7 July 2012

A small intimate gathering where you felt like you were at a party (family party)'. We rode in with Ryan and hands down the best guide we could ask for. He is extremely knowledgable and friendly. The food was good, and we were lucky enough to have Shirley and Joe who after 55 years of marriage, grandchildren, great grandchildren come here two months a year to entertain and feed those in attendance. What a wonderful couple who you just felt like were your own grandma or grandpa. Lovely people...lovely experience
