Stayed at KOA on way to Grand Tetons. We towed a trailer. We were met in front by friendly young man who escorted us to our spot. Very clean bathrooms. Grassy area and playground for kids.

The KOA was advertised with a pool, but only the concrete deck was there, and the two hot tubs were also shut off. Cable service was inadequate. free wireless was spotty. Nice view of Elk Mountain to the east, but not much more. OK dog area. Small playground. Clean restrooms.

We stopped here on our way home to Texas after leaving the Grand Tetons.
I was disappointed to find the pool closed, but it was nice to have the doggy walking area, though a bench in this area would make it an "A+" in my book.

We had nice neighbors for the evening, men working in the area.
The showers were nice and clean though small.

Not bad for a night's sleep.

Noisy location (between highway and railroad), pool broken, no scenery or even trees, you better have an awning on your camper if you want shade, "convenience" store closed up early on a Saturday morning, threads in hose fitting at dumpstation were stripped, had to get tools out to remove our hose. Playground and pedal carts for kids fantastic, showers ok although tiny. Will not be staying here again unless absolutely no other choice.

We selected this KOA as part of our stopovers on the way to Yellowstone, in part because it had a pool and for us, that is important. When we arrived we found the pool had never been opened for the year due to damage in the winter (it was July already). Oh well. The guy at check-in was unfriendly, not rude, but not a people person shall we say. Since I had reserved online, all he had to do was assign our site. Cable was OK, wifi OK. Our site was "deluxe" because it had a fence around the patio, presumably to keep the wind at bay. I would reroute my next trip to avoid this area next time!

i pulled up late and my reservation had not had my value card, and discount, and the lady helped me enter it. it was a few minutes past the stores closing too. Friendly and helpful. facilities were clean, and i've been to many KOAs. Location was perfect as staging out from Yellowstone/Grand Teton. Is near highway though, so moderate truck noise, not too bad though.

We had a very sick baby and decided that we better not travel with him anymore the day we were supposed to arrive in Rawlins. I called the day of our reservation to cancel, full well knowing that we ran the chance of forfeiting our deposit, but the RUDENESS that came along with it was not expected! Not only did they say that we would still have to pay the full rate, they were EXTREMELY rude about it. No sympathy what-so-ever! It was just "too damn bad" and "you have to pay anyway". Incidentally, we had to cancel another KOA on our trip (in Deadwood, SD). The people there were so friendly and and they gladly returned our deposit. We did plan on staying at the Rawlins KOA when we finally did make it down that way, but didn't make a reservation not knowing which day we would arrive. Thank God! The place was an absolute DUMP. We pulled in and pulled right back out. We ended up driving a little further and staying at the KOA in Rock Springs - Big difference!!!
