Ted's Supper Club is famous for steaks. Don't let the outside of the building fool you. It looks a little run down, but inside you will find the best steaks in Southwest Wyoming. It is an old fashioned experience. You must make your way through the circa 1974 bar in order to get to the dining room. The staff is experienced and know how to treat customers. Service is not a hallmark of the Rock Springs/Green River area, so Ted's is a nice exception. The only drawback is the very low lighting. Don't show up drowsy, or you might pass out in the salad.

I searched for an excellent steak for a week in Rock Springs, and finally found it. Our party of 5 arrived without reservaions, and were promptly seated. The salads were excellent, with homemade dressings. I ordered a 32 oz T-Bone, rare. The steak was served promptly, and was very flavorful and tender. The baked potato was cooked perfectly, as were vegetables. The desserts were also great. Service was consistently excellent....A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

Prime Rib is only one of the good things on Ted's menu. This is an old fashioned Steakhouse with all the trimmings, including a relish tray. (older folks will know what I mean). Service is friendly and efficient. Decor is a little drab but the food is the star here.

It's been there for decades, and looks frozen in time. The front "bar" area was rife with regulars, and a homey friendly attitude prevailed. Very few tables there-- the "dining room" was a bit like a banquet hall, no windows, bland walls, and banquet chairs (which did have padding.......just the look of a low budget event hall). Kind of deadly atmosphere. White tablecloth. Nice homey waitstaff -- limited wines available, and the staff didn't know anything about them. Essentially a steakhouse, with lots of big portions. And, in this small community, really surprisingly high prices. ( think $25-30 entrees - though they included a nondescript salad-- iceberg) Most enchanting part was the old sign out front-it gleamed with neon possibilities.

Overall, probably one of the nicer restaurants in the area, but we
