They went completely out of their way to get us a room during a super busy time. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms were nice and clean and everyone wAs very helpful and polite. Will stay here again.
i could tell that this was an awesome motel in its time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the attached restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced.
The first room we were given was absolutely terrible, not clean and quite smelly BUT the clerk was quick to move us to another room that was much, much better. Bed was comfortable, tub/shower was clean (but grout in the wall tiles was moldy), bathroom was clean, and room furniture was comfortable. Had a microwave and refrigerator, but no hair dryer.
We would recommend this motel only if you need a cheap place to stay while on the road and if you can sleep through train and adjacent room noise.
It was like a bad date with someone you met on the internet, did not look like the pictures, you wanted to leave as soon as you got there. There were peanuts scattered on the bed. No hair drier very hot heat lamp in bathroom, noisy plumbing, faulty coffee maker and rooms are old and dark. Not worth the money
This is not a fancy motel/hotel, it is an older one that has been redone. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. They have a pool, a good restaurant, and lounge with a nice wine selection. The staff is very helpful. They do large parties, and offer good deals. In the summer, they have an outdoor concert series. For the price, you really can't beat this in Sheridan.
While this motel is cheaper than most the other lodging in Sheridan, If I had to do it again I would stop at Buffalo instead. This room was filthy, something had been spilled on the inside of the door and had not been vacuumed. Mildew was all over the bathroom, the fan was noisy and didn't work well. The toilet was extremely loud and literally took over 2 minutes to fill. Our neighbors rooms were the same way...we could hear them every time they flushed. Had we not been driving all day and arrived in the middle of a snowstorm, we would have left and went somewhere else.
Our room was in the back and was large, very clean and comfortable. It looked as though they had updated it recently. There is a railroad line that is pretty close and parallels the main road through town. The trains come through more often then you'd like but I suspect it affects most if not all of the motels in the town. They do not have a convenient ice machine. The desk clerk had to get my ice. The restaurant quite good and so was the service there. I would stay here again based on the value and room.
