We loved this place!! We were there for a skiing vacation and not only the snow it's amazing the hotel its perfect.
Sky in - walk out.
They deliver your sky equipment rentals with couple of companies the suggest.
The have a beautiful jacuzzi on the rooftop and also a warm pool on the 2nd or 3rd level. I liked the warm pool a lot better.
The rooms are very spacious we had a one bedroom with a fireplace and a kitchen. Th bathroom had a jacuzzy and was very spacious. The room was a lot bigger than we thought.
The restaurant downstairs its very convenient and they make great breakfast.

We will be back for sure

Terra is conveniently located in front of the commons area of Teton Village. This means ski in/out in winter and immediate access to the mountain in summer. The staff is very friendly. Rooms have a modern and practical decoration. The Terra Cafe serves great breakfast with organic ingredients and for dinners they have the very good Osteria. It has a nice outdoor pool with a view of the mountain.Terra cares about the environment. Electricity comes from green sources. Some of the construction materials ( eg: room shingles ) come from recycled materials. Net net: a very good experience.

Checked in today for a 4 night stay - really looking forward to it based on previous reviews. Because we booked the room within 14 days, a full deposit was required. At almost $400 / night (before taxes and resort fees), this is a big disappointment. When we called to make the reservation the agent told us she would ensure a room with a view of Village Commons was set aside for us. As we were checking in, I asked about the room and was told they were giving us "one of the best and most often requested suites". After further pressing I was told they were not able to accommodate my original request but that I would "love" the room they ended up giving us. Of course the room was not ready when we checked in at 1 pm - they told us they had until 4 pm to have the room ready. We asked to see the room dirty so that we could decide if we wanted to stay. The room was facing the parking lot! According to the manager, there was nothing he could do - they were at full capacity. After much time, they offered to move us after the first night but the other room was worse. We asked for a credit (of some sort) but the request was denied. The manager had the audacity to inform us that the rack rate was $600 / night - as if to make it clear we were getting a 'deal' for the suite. We went to have lunch while they cleaned the room - apparently they messaged to the restaurant to pay our drink tab -- not the full tab, just the drinks -- $8!!! Way to make things right. Could you spare it? The room is not worth the price paid, especially with a parking lot view.
To add salt to the wound, there was no furniture on the balcony. Every balcony in my line of sight had at least 2 pieces of furniture. I called the front desk and asked if they could locate a spare chair. About 15 minutes later, a gentleman from engineering comes to the door caring a dining room chair!!! After telling me he doesn't know why the front desk called engineering, he explained that they don't have any spare furniture. When I asked why, he informed me that their storage is actually 1 hr. 30 minutes away from the hotel. Still scratching my head at this one.

Do yourself a favor....stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: Not sure how to recommend a good room -- didn't work for us!

Dear Maria M,

Please accept my apologies for any confusion related to the location of your top floor one bedroom corner suite. Please know that we always do our very best to honor all of our guest's requests but every now and then it's just not possible.

As for the deck furniture, I am also sorry that you do not care for the deck furniture that is on your deck. We are adding two more chairs and a table in the hope that these additional pieces will meet your needs.

If you would like to discuss your concerns in person I am available to meet with you.

I sincerely hope you enjoy the rest of your stay.

David Kingston

This is an excellent property. We stayed in the summer, plenty for us to do with 3 kids in the Teton Village area, including restaurants. Would love to come back again and ski. Immaculate room, very spacious 2 BR suite with full kitchen. Short drive to Teton National Park, or town of Jackson.

We spent a week at the hotel, which is very nice with all the usual amenities. The pool is a beautiful heated outdoor pool, but it is so small that i didn't want to bring my kids as their idea of fun at a pool does not involve a relaxing adult atmosphere.

We were at the Hotel Terra....a condo/hotel for a business cum pleasure stay in July. We were in a corner one bedroom, 2 bath suite on the 5th floor with a small but adequate balcony overlooking the ski slopes, village, gondola and valley. There was also a murphy bed in the living area. While we did not need it this unit would be quite comfortable for 4. The full kitchen was equipped with the necessities for preparing meals if so desired. We always enjoy having the option to eat in. We would stay at the Hotel Terra again. We enjoyed the staff as well.

Room Tip: Of course there is noise but only when noise is appropriate....this hotel is very near the ski slope...

We stayed for two nights at Hotel Terra in July. I have a similar opinion to a previous review - for the price per night and the website pictures, we were expecting more. The hotel staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly, however, the room was definitely showing some wear, and it was a lot smaller than the pictures portrayed it to be. The plunge pool on the third floor was fun, but did not make up for the price we paid for the room and our overall experience.
