“Was ready to stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2011

Prior to booking our trip, my fiancee, brother, and I searched high and low for the best deal going out to Jackson Hole to ski. Once we saw the ski green package along with what it came with, we read through reviews and decided to go for it.

We could not have been happier with our decision. The nicest people we have ever met worked there and helped us our entire stay. Booking dinner reservations, dinner recommendations, taxi's, and even extending our check out time as our flight was delayed 6 hours, they were top to bottom incredible.

The room was more than all three of us were expecting. The outdoor pool is amazing as well as the hidden gem of the rooftop jacuzzi. The cafe for breakfast got us ready to go in the morning and Osteria is great for lunch or dinner. The ski valet and ski on/off aspect of the mountain makes it so convenient for any snowboarder/skier.

I'd love to even try Terra in the summer, but I'm more of a winter person and cannot wait to go back next winter.

Outstanding hotel. Cool furnishings and design. The staff are very very well trained. Definitely deserves its 4 diamonds. Only complaint is we booked the "urban studio" and the bed folds from the wall, yet there was a full kitchen with an island with barstools and a kitchen table as well. Im willing to bed people would prefer more living space and less kitchen space. When the bed is down there is little room to even walk to the bathroom, and we had to shut off the refrigerator anyway because the constant whirring noise. You are literally sleeping in the kitchen. Everything else was excellent. I would come back for sure, but would book a different room type.

My spouse and I booked into the Hotel Terra for three nights during the "bridge" season between summer vacations and ski season. We love traveling during such times; hotels and attractions are less crowded, so you often get extra attention and perks. This was certainly the case at Hotel Terra! We were upgraded to the next room category upon arrival, and boy, what a room. The mini-suite included a gas fireplace, a full kitchen, rainfall showerhead and air jetted soaking tub, and the most comfortable hotel bed I think I've ever experienced. We drank wine on our little balcony as the sun set over the valley and the mountain tops lit up with the last blazing rays. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and we were sorry to leave.
So sorry, in fact, that after just one night at our next destination (which shall remain nameless), we turned around and went back to the Hotel Terra! A quick phone call confirmed us for two more nights, this time in a room a little higher up and facing the other direction so we had a different view. All five nights that we stayed at the Hotel Terra, we enjoyed the heated outdoor infinity pool, and nearly every night we had it all to ourselves - another perk of bridge season! We loved that Hotel Terra works so hard to be eco-friendly, and it showed in the materials used throughout the hotel, from the bamboo furniture to the organic soaps and cleaning products. As we left for the second and final time, a "green building" convention had just checked in - what a perfect site for them! We will definitely return to the Hotel Terra, whether it's off season or high season - it's a great place to stay.

I stayed alone in a 1 BR suite but consider it if you have up to four people as a full or queen bed comes down out of the wall in the main room and there are 2 full baths plus a full kitchen so plenty of room for everyone at less than $100/night each. The look and feel of the place is great. Very clean and modern. I really liked how they have large pump bottles of the shampoo, lotion, etc. that are refilled and used over and over vs. those little ones that you use a tiny bit of and then throw away. 5 speaker Bose system in each room with an iPod dock - very nice. The outdoor hot tub on the 3rd floor has awesome views of the mountain and plenty of room. This is now the nicest hotel in the village at a third of what you'd pay at the Four Seasons.

The hotel provided incredible services from the moment we checked in. The room was well appointed with amenities like fireplace, surround sound, eco-friendly, and high quality appliances in both the kitchen and the bathrooms. Great location. Easy walk to good shopping, quality restaurants, and of course the ski hill.
