I was guest of the ranch 4 years ago and I felt in love with it, so for my second time in Cody I've decided to reserve a room within the Rand Creek... As people use to say, everything changes and this place is not an exception. Surrounding area is great as usual but, maybe due to the presence of many guests, room cleaning was really bad, breakfast was poor and for two mornings in a row we found a wasp in the bedroom, probably entered from a crack in the ceiling coating (don't worry, I took care of the insect bringing it outside safe!). Since the ranch is approx. halfway between Cody (20 minutes driving) and the Yellowston Est Entrance (40 minutes), I suggest to search for a cheeper accomodation in Cody or for a place inside the park or close to the South Entrance (Jackson Hole and the Teton Park).

I am sorry we didn't live up to your expectations. We did have a wasp problem earlier in the season that we believe we have rectified. We do go in daily to cabins to replenish supplies, take trash out, make beds, and clean up if possible. Again we appologize.

If you are looking to get away from the fast pace of the city, I would highly recommend a stay at this ranch. Our cabin was gorgeous, very clean and well appointed. We will try to make it back here and take the two hour trail ride. Just a short drive to the East entrance to Yellowstone or Cody, Wy, this is a place to stay a few days and explore.

We stayed at the ranch for two nights while visiting Yellowstone. What a beautiful setting. We stayed in the Bear's Den Cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Each morning a breakfast pail was delivered to our door. It had juice, fruit, and a baked pastry. Yummy. Wish we could have stayed longer so that we could have taken advantage of the trail rides that the ranch offers. Looked like fun!

Breakfast of fresh baked goodies, fruit and juice greet you each morning just outside your cabin door. Fireside chats with the owners, Krystal and Joel, and the other guests give you a sense of community you won't find elsewhere. The cabins are simple yet beautiful with comfortable beds perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the nearby attractions or a leisurely horseback ride. Perfectly situated between Cody and Yellowstone, this is an ideal place to stay. The views from your cabin are beautiful. If you are looking for a place to relax and unplug, look no further!

Room Tip: Book early, and pick the cabin that suits your family size needs - there are no "bad" choi...

Just had an amazing stay. From the time we checked in Crystal made us feel like we were at home. The cabin was very nice. Beds very comfortable. We really enjoyed the campfire at night talking with Crystal, Joel and all the guests. The view from the front porch was something I could never grow tired of. Having coffee and Crystal's awesome baked goods every morning while looking at the mountains was a great experience. We look forward to visiting again and wish you both continued success.

We loved meeting you, your husband and your daughter! Our evening campfires are a nice way for our guests to get to know Joel and I plus our wranglers and for us to get to know you to! It's the perfect way to end the day. We look forward to hopefully seeing you in the future.

We stayed here for one night with our little boy and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Where to start, the cabin was excellent, very nicely decorated and had a cosy feel. looking out onto the mountains was so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were so welcoming, there was the camp fire at night, we arrived late so didn't get to experience the full evening but if we are passing that way again i'd make sure we got there early and stayed longer. our little boy loves horses and the owner allowed him to pat the horses and offered him to sit on one. He was so excited and i think that memory will stay with us for a long time. The husband and wife team that run the ranch do an excellent job and i would recommend this place to everyone.

We love hearing that you made some wonderful family memories while visiting us here at Rand Creek Ranch! I think one of the most exciting things about being so fortunate to own and operate the ranch is the fantastic people we get to meet along the way....hopefully our trails will pass again!

What a peaceful retreat . Sit on your porch and look at the mountains. A cosy log cabin was our home for two nights in May this year staying with another couple. Two bedroom, one bathroom was a bit small for four adults but would be ok for family with small children. We brought food to BBQ for dinner and crystal was kind enough to provide knives and forks and paper plates. There is outside grill available for use.
Please be aware that breakfast provisions are cold food only but you can make coffee or heat things up in microwave, no cooking in cabin. Beds were very comfortable. Good location to Yellowstone, only 20 miles away. Saw lots of animals even before we arrived in the park. Husband went horse riding with crystals husband and loved it going up into the hills.
