Fabulous house. My family, a total of 10 adults and 6 children, spent a week at this lovely home celebrating my 70th birthday and 50th anniversary. The owner, Susan, and her son, Kevin, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The house was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, the linens were plush and the beds were comfortable. We hated to leave and hope to return some day
We stayed at the house with our entire family (16 people). The House was wonderful and the sleeping arrangements adequate for a 1 week stay. The kitchen was awesome, you have to love the fireplace! The kitchen table was large enough to seat everyone in the family with plenty of preparation space for all the food. The deck is very nice and again became one of the main gathering spaces with gorgeous views of the Grand Tetons. The movie selection for the kids was a real nice touch. We all thought this was one of the best family vacations in years and it was in large part due to the wonderful house and all it had to offer. If you are looking for a beautiful house with beautiful views on a nice quiet street this is the one for you.
This gorgeous home does not feel like a rental. The owner met us at the property. The location is ideal and the home is well stocked and prepared. Beds are comfortable and rooms seemed designed for our extended family of 13. Everything was clean and the decor was perfect for the setting. The view of the Tetons is picturesque and the main deck has two levels with plenty of seating that is comfortable and cosy next to the fire. There are two dining tables inside and our group spent much of the time in the kitchen area with enough seating to be together and enjoy time visiting. We especially loved the separation of the other table from the kitchen when we had Bill Boney Catering prepare two fabulous dinners for us. Appetizers were served at the kitchen table in waves and we moved to the living room adjacent to the other table to visit and then eat at the dining area when Bill finished slaved away.
The bedrooms are far enough from the kitchen area in this well designed home to allow visiting late into the night while others retire early. Two rooms have an additional hallway door to further dampen noise and these rooms were perfect for the younger cousins to stay together and play or sleep without causing the rest of the group to modify their agenda.
We cooked many meals and never wanted for kitchen items we have at home. A great addition is the Nespresso machine and frothier. We enjoyed our grinder and pots of coffee but late and early risers had their quick fix with little fuss. There is a free-standing small cube ice maker which was perfect for cocktail hour. The trash compactor made garbage manageable for our large group.
The master has a jacuzzi tub and the steam shower and hot sauna are in the downstairs room with a fold out sofa and kids area where they could watch TV. There is also a TV in the living room and there may be others but we never turned any of them on. Wifi was available and everyone had their iPads and phones so it was a bit slow but worked despite the load we put on it. Streaming would not be possible.
When I return to Jackson Hole, I will try to stay here without a doubt!
