This was one of our first stops of the day. Easy to just drive up, get some great pics, and be on your way. Or you can climb the stairs to see it from above. Either way, its a very easy and family friendly way to see a beautiful waterfall.

Try to make sure you are visiting these falls in the morning so that you get the best photos. It is breathtaking but if you come in the afternoon the sun in behind the falls. There is limited parking so come early before the tour buses pull in - or you'll be photo bombed by other visitors. Not far from downtown Hilo - only a short drive.

Nice falls, good viewpoint. Not much reason to take the trail up top as you can't see much of the falls.

What's really nice about this place is that it's just off the road. Also, you can walk through a forested area and check out the giant banyan trees. It's free, which is also a bonus.
