My wife and I stayed in the Harmony house for only a couple nights and were mystified by the experience. The grounds are stunning, the rooms clean and comfortable, and (innkeeper) Lea was warm and welcoming. The drive to the inn sets the stage for an unforgettable experience which really delivers on the "getting away" aspect. We are considering having our vow renewal ceremony there in a couple years. I can think of nowhere and in no better hands to put our friends and family. Is there a stronger recommendation than that?

This relaxing hide-a-way is so near to Hilo yet so far from the rush of a city that it becomes an ideal home base for exploring the Big Island. The property is beautifully maintained with views that are rarely found. The breakfast and the service of the cook/waitpersons makes you want to linger for more coffee and conversation. This is without a doubt one of the nicest places I have ever found.

Site is practically out of a fantasy. Staff is superb. Food is delicious. View of Hilo at night is magical. View of waterfall is indescribable. Try to see the full moon setting over the waterfall - out of a storybook...

Your server Shelly was fantastic! She made our trip not good, but fantastic! She is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. She was willing to answer the many questions are young inquisitive children had about the fabulous flora and fauna that we were experiencing for the first time. She gave our rating the exclamation point. Your B & B was comfortable, beautiful, and we would definitely like to return for another visit. Mahalo! The Olsens

This is really a great place to stay. Next to a falls, and great breakfast is in the mornings. The staff is very professional and caring. The location is outside of town and very quite (pretty much middle of no where kind of feeling). I would definitely recommend this place.

We were first drawn to Kulaniapia Falls from the picture of the waterfall and the fact it was away from the crowds. On the drive to the Inn we were mesmerized by the scenery. We stayed in the Orchid Room at Harmony House and enjoyed the sound of the falls from there. Our host and hostess were very amicable and gave great tips for places to visit. We are already planning our next trip back to the Inn with our family. It is a great value!
