The GPS was taking me to a direction that seamed wrong and when I parked, there it was, the most authentic and delicious thai meal. The service was superb and the food delicious. You HAVE to order the Sticky Rice and Mangoes, or like we say in Spanish "Arroz con Mango". But be aware is big, so order one for the entire table.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night in Hilo. What a discovery! The food is outstanding, and considerably different from Thai I'm accustomed to. The Tom Kha soup had many more veggies than I've seen other places, and it was a pleasant surprise. However, the spiciness is according to the Thai scale -- our soup was too spicy, yet it was so delicious we ate it all anyway! The Thai pizza with opakapaka was amazing! We also enjoyed the homemade curry. This restaurant has the best Thai food I've ever had!

Everything here is fresh, organic, and bursting with flavor. The Green Papaya salad is absolutely delicious. Very creative menu with friendly staff. Tina is a wonder of a human being, and I would love to go back and eat more of her delightful food!

Tina is the driving force in this restaurant. Her fusion of Thai flavors with all kinds of other cuisines makes for dishes that really defy easy categorization. Take, for example, her Thai pizzas -- soft tortilla-style wraps that enfold pumpkin, fish, cheese, greens. It may not sound out of this world, but trust me, it's unbelievable -- and feeds two easily.

That's another thing about this tiny restaurant. Although the dishes may seem to be a little on the expensive side, they are enormous. And every one I have tried is delicious. Servings are often brought to the table in unusual ceramic vessels and these, too, add to the overall enjoyment and pleasure of dining.

There's no alcohol served, but the Thai iced coffee is great. So, too, are the smoothies.

Tina grows many of the vegetables herself, and she uses fresh caught local fish. When you ask for a doggie bag, you're given a recycled container (glass jars, mostly) since Tina doesn't like to use paper or plastic.

One caveat: Don't come here in a rush. You'll just be frustrated. Tina takes her time. Appetizers may come later than main dishes, but does that really matter? The food is always worth the wait.
