“Don't Go There Unless You Know You Will Return”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2013

You will fall in love with the food here! I am crazily hooked on Vietnamese Beef Stew, which is a flavorful brothy stew with vegetables and beef cooked so slowly that it falls apart when you bite into it. It still has some "chew" but it is tender and delicious! They will bring you the usual fresh, crunchy veggies to add to this stew, and you can have it with rice, or like me, with French Bagette. That is served freshly toasted and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Buckle up for your trip to heaven when you throw all your western etiquette out the window, dunk the bread in the flavorful broth, and enjoy! It is difficult for me to eat their other dishes because I want this stew every time we go there, but I have eaten off family members plates, and the food is always perfectly seasoned and delicious. The service is fast, but English is minimal, so just don't plan on a chatty conversational waitress here.

“Best place you never ate at! Pho real!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 May 2013 via mobile

Been eating at New Saigon for a while now and never have I had a bad meal. From meat load to the phunky phresh pho, you can't go wrong. Give the Singapore Curry fried noodles a try. It is definitely one of their most awesomest dishes. You will not be disappointed.

“Depends on what you get”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2013

Pho broth was very tasty- light and generous beef ball portions.
Hubby tried tofu version of pad Thai- 2 thumbs down- very red dyed, not spicy like asked, too sweet- so unthai version....yuck but still edible... Papaya salad was good with roasted peanuts! Nice people... Will return for pho again

“Don't go anywhere else”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2012

This restaurant doesn't look much from the outside and it's probably not a place you'd go for a romantic date - unless you love good food.
The waitress ignored us for the better part of half an hour and then didn't actually really speak any English, but the food made more than up for it: The green papaya salad as a starter was amazingly fresh and flavoursome and my main (tofu with aubergine) was fantastic. Am still amazed how this little inconspicuous restaurant managed to pull off this fantastic food - do go and try!
