“Tranquil Beauty”

Well maintained gardens with a lovely walk through beautiful flowers and fruit trees that ends at the most gorgeous infinity pool and view of the Kona coastline. Yummy coffee served on a covered lanai. Truly one of the most beautiful spots on the island.

“Simply beautiful”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

After talking to a friend in Kona, I checked out the reviews for Mauka Meadows. All the reviews were positive. My husband & I have driven by this "hidden gem" many times but never stopped. This time we did & were not disappointed. The walk is nice & the trees & flowers are beautiful. It was a little drizzly when we went & had brought our own umbrellas. However, they did have some for guests to use. We tried their coffee & then bought some. I also bought a Sasaki handbag. They are so beautiful & the workmanship is outstanding. Please check out theses wonderful bags.

The pool there is beautiful & so pleasant to look at from the covered patio area. Lest I forget, we were given a ride back up to the street as the driveway is very steep.

“Beautiful Gardens”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous..it is amazing that this is free and what is more they encouraged us to pick some of the fruits and nuts on our stroll. The pineapple was best I've ever tasted! They even had long poles and nutcrackers to get the macadamia nuts. Had lemons, limes, tangerines...all fantastic. Our 12 yr old loved it and enjoyed the chickens and turkeys roaming the grounds as much as picking a little produce.

As one poster mentioned it is similar to Hawaiian Tropical Botanical Garden near Hilo but with a little more orchard feel to it. As mentioned ample parking but we were only group there on our visit in a large space. This is not a coffee tour per se but they do offer tasting at the fantastic infinity pool at the end with the opportunity to buy various coffees and other items.

The grounds are somewhat steep but tour is downhill and they provide rides back up if needed. We enjoyed so much we walked back uphill. We are not coffee drinkers but made sure to buy some for family to support this gem on the Kona hillside.

“Labour of Love”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

What stunning gardens followed by the infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean into the horizon. This feels like such a labour of love and turned out to be one. A Japanese gentleman made this work over the past couple of decades. And it shows.
Make the time to visit this place - you will not be disappointed. Taste some estate coffee.

“A Beautiful Location”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

This beautiful coffee plantation is absolutely amazing if you like manicured grounds and amazing vistas. The parking lot is at the top of the grounds and you will walk down wandering among the various fruit and plant vegetation. There is a vast array of everything off the paved path down. The flowers were gorgeous and you wonder how far the path goes. It is steep in some places but do not worry about walking back up. They have beautiful hostesses that will drive you back to the top. Very friendly and accommodating. The end of the path leads to the area where you can sit down and enjoy the outstanding coffee and the drop off scenic pool. The views of Kona-Kailua are fantastic as you are up in elevation---where the coffee plants love the cooler more moist climate. It is worth going on this relaxing free tour.
