Steve and Nancy have found a truly magical spot on this earth. The rest of us are lucky that they have kind, generous spirits and want to share Waipio Rim with others. We had a fantastic time exploring and hiking the area. The accommodations are *sparkling clean*, breakfast was delicious (esp. the coffee - nice and robust!) the hosts are generous and helpful, and the view is truly breathtaking - I still can't wrap my mind around the precious few days we had here.

This space is best for independent travellers wanting a unique, adventurous, and yet slightly more quiet experience.

The best summary I can offer is that it felt like vacationing in Neverland. Truly fantastic.

If your wanting a "One of a Kind" experience, this place is for you! It's at the end of the road and that means privacy at it's best. Steve and Nancy, what can I say but they were incredible hosts, coffee and tea delivered when we woke and then later a scrumptious breakfast. Oh how we hated to leave and would love to go back. The view was what brought us there and I had showed my husband on the net what it was like but when we arrived he was speechless and was totally blown away with the view.

This was our first ever stay at a bed and breakfast and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. Amazing location and views, fantastic hosts, terrific breakfasts, great room and so much more. We stayed 3 nights but could have easily spent our entire vacation here. It's very peaceful and there's plenty in the area to explore. Thank you so much for hospitality Steve and Nancy! We hope to be back someday.

This place is beyond words! We had the priviledge of spending 5 beautiful nights at the Waipio Rim B&B and get married there during our stay. It was perfect. Not only is the view awe-inspiring, but what makes this place so special are definitely Steve and Nancy (the owners). The room is lovely and you can tell first glance how much effort they put into it, right down to the tiniest details. The breakfast is to die for and being able to eat such delicacies whilst overlooking the 1,000ft cliffs is an experience that we'll never forget. And as if that wasn't enough already, Steve and Nancy are just really incredibly nice and lovely. After our ceremony (which was right there in the garden with just the two of us), they brought out a bottle of champagne for a toast :)
We were sad to leave and can't wait to return! If you ever get the chance to be in that part of the world and are looking for an experience outside of fancy resorts that will leave you breathless with natural beauty and true aloha spirit, then definitely give the Waipio Rim B&B a try. We're so glad we did!

Room Tip: Only one room and it's perfect!

We spent two nights with Steve and Nancy and had a wonderful time. The B&B is located in a beautiful spot just at the entrance to the Waipio Valley and the view is breathtaking. The room is very spacious and spotless. If you plan on visiting the Waipio Valley, this is definitely the place to stay.

My wife and I stayed with Steve and Nancy in February of 2013 and we loved the experience so much we decided to return again in February 2014. It’s really hard to describe how peaceful and unique an experience staying at the Waipio Rim B&B is until you have had the pleasure to stay with Steve and Nancy for a few nights. What we love about the Waipio B&B: the lovely grounds, the well-equipped private accommodations, relaxing on the lanai with the most stunning view, the delicious breakfasts and coffee, hiking in the Waipio valley, the best black sand beach in Hawaii, hearing the waves and nature all around you at night. Steve and Nancy are so warm, welcoming, and informative. We highly recommend the experience to all our friends.

The view is breathtakingly beautiful. Having a meal at the lanai is most relaxing. Steve and Nancy
are the most attentive hosts. Breakfasts are delicious, flavorful and home made. There is great attention to details; from landscape, decor to the tile in the shower. We joined a shuttle tour to Waipio Valley, it is indeed a special place, untouched and Eden like. Steve and Nancy - thank you for having a B & B, so others can have a taste of paradise. Mahalo!
