My husband and I just returned from a three night stay at Waiahuhea for our 5th anniversary. This was the best bnb experience we have ever had, and we actually wished we'd stayed a whole week. The inn is located off a gravel road in a little town not too far from Waimea. We were a little worried about being too secluded, but quickly realized that there is plenty to keep us busy. Not only is there lots to do in the area (Mauna Kea, Waimea Valley), but the owners have a library of movies, games and magazines available for no additional charge to guests. There is a FANTASTIC hot tub, internet access and a delicious wine & cheese hour. The staff is amazingly attentive and friendly - the breakfast was delicious, our room was immaculately cleaned everyday. Only word of advice: we stayed in the cheapest room (A'ala), and although it was cute, it was also REALLY tiny. It reminded us of those rooms in Europe where you have to find creative places to put your luggage.
