First, the good: Maybe the prettiest place we've ever stayed. Warm, beautiful wood room perched a dozen feet up in a tropical rainforest. Brilliant greens out spacious windows. Quiet.
Second, the less-than-good: Although Tripadvisor categorizes the Lodge as a B & B/Inn, the Lodge might better be categorized as a hotel. The Lodge doesn't provide the typical B & B experience: a host cooking a communal meal for the assembled guests. Instead, the innkeeper provides a basket of snacks and stocks a refrigerator with breakfast for guests to heat with a microwave or toaster oven. Our first meal was frozen, which wasn't a major problem for the French toast and sausages, but was for the tropical fruit and dairy products.More
