This is a gourmet restaurant and the prices are gourmet. We ate here for our last dinner on the island and it was a good experience.
PROS: Top of the line service. All staff were a well-oiled machine. Water was refilled constantly. They hooked up the kid with a free quesadilla while we looked over the menu. The server took the time to explain the menu items since not everyone knows what a yady yady puree is composed of. The food was excellent. We sampled a lot of things and everything was very good. The view of the water was nice too.
CONS: Gourmet food comes with a gourmet price. Don't be fooled, this is a FOUR dollar sign place. Entrees are $23 to $50 a plate with meatloaf being the only thing actually under $30. The quality was there, but I wish you got a little more food, side item-wise, for the price.
OVERALL: If you want gourmet dining experience with the service and food quality you would expect from such a thing then Roy's is a great place to check out. I give it 4 starts instead of 5 because a little more food (quantity-wise) for the buck would have been nice.
