I recently play a round on the Beach Course while staying in the Waikoloa area. This course is "hands down" much more scenic and challenging than the King's Course (which I also played). The layout wraps around the resorts and condos, but it is nicely tucked into the real estate and has many scenic holes. There is only one hole that truly goes down somewhat close to the ocean, but it still is a very scenic course.
The service was not great, as we only saw the beverage cart once, and there were only a couple of people prepping the carts around the club house. It was fairly busy, but not "overwhelming", so I would have expected better service at a resort course.
It appears that during the busy times, they have to bring out their old carts, as the one that we had, did not have good brakes, and had some suspension issues as well.
I would play it again, as it was very convenient and the scenery was worth it.
