“Zodiac, bumps, caves, waterfalls -- mastered by Captain Manu and Koa”

My family of four -- two teenagers 15 and 17 -- took the early morning tour. Prior to boarding we were greeted by Manu and Koa making everyone feel at ease while joking around and making sure everyone was smiling and safe.

We boarded and headed towards the Nepali coast passing Polihale State Beach (you should go there in the afternoon) and learning a bit about the area from the crew. As you round the bend you are hit with the awesomeness that is the Nepali coast. We bumped around for a while until we spotted a huge pod of dolphins. We started up again and then went in and out of caves, under waterfalls and then we hopped out and snorkeled. Koa showed me and my son some fun stuff underwater and we were fortunate enough to see a turtle underwater. We stated back to the harbor only to be treated to another pod of dolphins -- this one was much larger than the first pod we saw.

The ride back to the harbor was indeed bumpy, but quite fun and we always felt safe. Manu loaded up some tunes and we cranked away as we bounced up and down with our jaws still open wide marveling at the beauty of this island.

Don't miss this. Absolutely the highlight of the trip for my family. The Nepali coast is a natural wonder and to see it by boat as you jet in and out of caves with a really cool crew is a fantastic way to spend half a day. and quite special Don't question it -- just do it!

We did the sunset sail on the summer solstice to the Na Pali. Granted the weather and sea couldn’t have been more perfect but really it was made fantastic by the crew. Brian was our captain that night and Kevin the chef. The meal was excellent and the hospitality of all the crew really made it a trip of a lifetime. The last time we did a sail was in 2005 - also with Captain Andy’s. The seas were not as cooperative that day but did not affect our having.a great family trip thanks to the amazing crew. Highly recommend this outfit. Great way to see the Ba Pali as well as spinner dolphins up close and the occasional flying fish. Money well spent!
