“a very easy one”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

this was a very easy trail (1.75 miles) with very beautiful views to the island. We are glad that we didn't miss this out.

“Worth it!”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

It was more steep than I thought but worth every step. The trees, the views and a nice place to picnic near the top. Loved it.

“Great hiking trail!!”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

It is a switchback trail with plenty of shortcuts (DON'T take them), many lead to sheer rock faces that are VERY difficult to climb. Once you think you are at the top...take a little break. Sit on the bench that says "Respect" and take in the views. THEN...keep climbing to the "Chin." The views from that height are breathtaking...don't forget your camera. Bring LOTS of water...as it is VERY humid and you will sweat A LOT. Takes about 2-3 hours to hike to the chin and back down. Once you get past the picnic table and are headed to the chin, the trail becomes REALLY difficult for many as you have to climb over big boulders (going up is the EASY part. Not to miss this hike though!

“sleeping giant”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Loved this hike, it was challenging at times but not defeating. Didn't make it to the chin but my husband and his friend did and got in on the gopro, close enough for me, They said it was quite challenging and pretty scary but happy they did it. Took us about and 1 1/2 hours and we took it easy for the most part. Fantastic views, highly recommend it
