“Great location, great price.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

We just returned from 9 days in Kauai. Our stay was greatly enhanced by staying at this property. Having separate living and sleeping rooms was ideal. I could watch TV and not bother my husband. We used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch. It had all pots, pans and dishes etc, we needed. It was very clean and reasonably quiet. The staff was very accommodating. Although, it backs up to the main highway, it was not bothersome to us because we live in a big city and are use to road noises. The air conditioning was very welcome at night and helped block out any noises. We were very pleased with the price and location.

Room Tip: Units further away from route 56 are probably quieter.

I just returned from a trip to Kauai with my daughter, son in law and my 8 month old grandson. My daughter had rented a one bedroom suite for all of us. We liked being able to park close to our room and the ground floor location was so convenient. The kitchen was well stocked, used the blender for smoothies. We loved the location across the street from the Coconut Grove Shopping Centre, where we enjoyed shopping and there was a farmers market on the Tuesday morning. It was dark by the time we got to the Inn but we found it no problem and the staff were very friendly. It was easy to get to the hwy and on our way to the North shore and the many activities in the area. I would definitely go back. I do wish that the pull out couch was a 7" mattress not the 5" spring mattress.

Room Tip: All locations were close to parking and a pool.

We were welcomed at check in and all staff were friendly. The location was close to most of the activities we were doing. The room was tired, and a bit musty, but clean enough. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and lots of storage. We never used the stove, but the fridge size was good, there was a microwave, a coffee maker (most important!), however, no dishwasher. Coin laundry is downstairs ($2.50) and worked just fine. The pools are a bit cool, but we found them quiet and were often the only ones there. The weather was a bit on and off though, so that may have played into it. The resort itself is quiet but, here's the down side, it is situated right next to the main road and the traffic noise is nonstop. It kind of drove us crazy. The air conditioner units worked well and drowned out the traffic noise; some people may not be bothered by hum of cars, and the price was right.

Room Tip: Get as far away from the road as possible.

Found this resort during a day trip from the cruise ship. Tripadvisor offered an excellent rate so decided to return. The unit was self contained and immaculately maintained. We were given a free upgrade which meant a quieter location.
The decor was lovely and the bed very comfortable.
There is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance.
It is opposite the Coconut Market Place which has some lovely clothing, souvenir and food outlets.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: standard units are close to the busy main road

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked and was cleaned every day. Economically priced, good location close to towns, shopping and next door to Coconut Market Place. Great farmers market twice a week for picking up local fruits and veggies. A good experience all round. Well done!

For a reasonably priced option for someone looking for something above a hostel but not wanting to pay 4 or 5 star prices, this is a good option. Situated on a ring road behind the main highway, the hotel is spread across most of the length of the road. Rooms are dated, but clean and roomy and come with a well stocked kitchen, so if you want to try out your culinary skills on produce bought at the various markets around the island, you can. My room smelt a little musty, but some airing out with the sliding doors to the lounge area and bedroom open soon fixed that up. If you're on the bottom floor, you're likely to hear all of the comings and goings of folks staying above you (the walls and floors aren't that sound proof), but given that you're not going to be staying in your room the whole time, it's not a big issue. Note, the air conditioning units are old and noisy - I didn't bother with mine because of this, but was there while it wasn't particularly hot, so this wasn't a problem. The beach is across the road and a short walk away and restaurants, bars, grocery stores are all within easy walking distance. There's multiple pools onsite if the beach across the road is looking a bit rough (note, it's not patrolled) or you aren't inclined to drive to another. The location is central to both the south and north coasts and it's only about a 15 min drive to the airport. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Ask for a room overlooking the pool rather than one overlooking the road - sitting out on your balcony is a bit more enjoyable. Overall a good budget option, but if you're looking for a 4 star resort with a bar, restaurant and room service options, you'll need to rethink your options.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool.

Nice room for a family of five. Right next to the Coconut Marketplace, downtown Kapa'a, and a 2 minute walk to a beach. Staff was friendly. Kitchen was a little tired looking, but served its purpose. The price was very affordable. We would stay again. :)
