“Delicious but watch the prices!”

Excellent food but, as with any "tapas"-style restaurant, the cost adds up quickly. We are a family of 4, the 2 kids are teens. We had 10 dishes, took no leftovers, and the bill was $300. That did include 2 drinks each for the adults, and we were not surprised due to the style of restaurant, but some people may not know what they are in for. Definitely a "splurge".

“Interesting Tapa Dishes”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

We ended up going to this restaurant with a couple we had met on a around Kauai helicopter tour. The tapa's dishes were wide ranging in variety and we had several small / medium / larger dishes - I think about 7 in total. more than enough for the 4 of us. The waitress was extremely efficient and as we not that familiar with US wine regions etc.suggested a pinot gris from Oregon which was very nice. Overall a very good restaurant with interesting dishes.

“The finest dinner of our summer”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

Wow, what a delicious surprise! Pls DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! We went from one delight to the other, the food was so refined, so original and really really really tasty. We are a French couple, we leave in NYC so we can be pretty demanding when it comes to restaurants, but this place was outstanding! We tried 5 different dishes, including the tempura ahi roll, the pumpkin raviolis, the shrimp tempura, the Thai bisque and the very famous 36 hour- marinated pork belly.. All yummy. The service was friendly, casual-Hawaiian style, which adds to the magic of having such greta diner in a very relaxed environment.

“Delicious and innovative”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

The food was excellent, and a different take on more traditional menu items. We loved the meal and the Sangria. Place is noisy and it's in a strip mall with no view (although the interior is very nice), so keep that in mind if you are in Kauai to eat with a view. One thing that I found strange - this was one of the few restaurants we went to in Kauai where the kid's menu was the traditional kid's menu of the mainland (mac and cheese, chicken fingers, etc) and no fish option. Our 4yo is pretty adventurous so we actually ignored the kid's menu and she ate what we were eating, which was lots of fun. Some parents might view this particular kid's menu as a bonus, but we thought it was great how the other Hawai'i kid's menus had some more interesting local options (but in the end it worked out great).
