Owner description: Kauai's LONGEST zipline course is home to 3 of the 5 longest ziplines on Kauai. Featuring our 1/2 mile Waita Zip. Each of our lines average over 1,000' in length and have you Flying through the jungle, soaring above the forest and gliding across the water. We're also the only Zipline on Kauai that offers headfirst ziplining with our Flyin' Kauaian Harness! Located just 5 minutes from the major resorts of Poipu, Koloa Zipline is the closest of all activities to the South side of Kauai.

Took 3 friends for a great adventure with Koloa Zip Line. Offering 8 zip runs of varying lengths including one that was almost 1/2 mile long, this zip line tour definitely is worth the price you pay. They also offer an upgrade to "fly Kaua'ian" and soar like Superman on your stomach. It's only $20 more and it's worth every cent! Of course, you do have a couple short runs that you do traditional sitting up but getting to soar like Superman makes you almost feel like you are flying on your own. The staff is really friendly and while they are laid back and casual, they are extremely safety conscious and run through the checklist list before each run. We had the pleasure of getting Fred and Bruce as our guides and they were fun, friendly, accommodating, patient, and all around great guys!
There is one part of the tour that requires a pretty strenuous inclined walk up to get to the next run so this is not for those in poor health. This should definitely be on your "must do" list.

Thanks bearecub, We appreciate your review. I especially liked your input on the Flyin' Kauaian harness. We love hearing feedback on that option since it is still a relatively new feature.

Last year we zip lined with this company and had such a good time we decided to do it again and with the same company. You check in about a half mile from the the location that starts the zip line experience. You pay and leave a credit card with the pay folks. Feels funny but works fine. After a short drive you put on the gear and they check it for fit and then you do a short training which helps those who have not done it before. Then a rough van ride up into the trees and hills. Then a short walk to the first zip. Everything is built with safety and solidness in mind. This zip experience has two guides the first one basically catches and brakes you at the end. You just have to enjoy the ride. The views are great and some of the rides get up some good speed. The last line is pretty long and goes over a lagoon. Towards the end the have drinks and snacks which is a nice touch. They do a great job of making sure this experience is fun and safe.

My wife and I just got back from Koloa Zip Lining and it was awesome! Our guides Trevor & Kukoa? (Knees) were super helpful and cool, especially in helping me get over my massive fear of heights. Would recommend to anyone visiting the island, the views are spectacular and the guides make it memorable. (Even Kokoa) haha! Thanks gentlemen!

Great time today zip lining. We had a party of 4 adults and there 5 other quests in our group. Breezy, his brother Peanut and Tiana were great guides and very entertaining. The engage everyone in the group to make sure they were having a good time. Safety was a high priority and the guides were funny but very professional making sure that everyone felt comfortable. No pun intended but the time flew by.

Our first time ziplining ever for 3 of our 4 family members today. The guides were knowledgeable, very safety conscious. Appreciated the way that one of them first went down the lines to see how fast/slow they were running. They identified which ones would require tandem for the lower weight guests (which included our 11yr old and another family with younger children). They made sure the safety harnesses were hooked to us first, then hooked us up to the lines. They noted which lines could be done upside down, gave great directions on how to do everything. The 1/2 mile over the water zip at the end was spectacular, but then we loved all of the other 7 lines too. The water only and the snack/water/juice breaks were at appropriate times. The snacks/juice selections were excellent and in keeping with Hawaii favorites. What impressed us the most was that at one point, the guide on the other end of the line was radioing the one on our end that all was clear, but the guide on our end was in the process of hooking up our girls tandem style. He focused on finishing their hook-up before radioing back so to ensure there were no distractions. We were thrilled about the attention to safety. I was amazed at how comfortable I was doing this, as I'm normally afraid of heights. I wouldn't recommend for folks who have trouble hiking, as there are a few steep hills between zips, and the "stairs" up the zip platforms would be tough for someone with ankle/knee issues. But if you are a family with elementary school age kids or older looking for a controlled/safe adventure, this is a great time. More likely to hear "cool" or "awesome!!!!", not "bored" or "scared". And PS - the Thai food truck at the check-in location had fabulous food, maybe some of the best we had on the island - perfect for our quick family lunch after finishing checkout.

Mahalo for such an informative review Lisa W! It's always wonderful to hear that our safety measures are being noticed, whether it's while you're walking, zipping, or just being hooked up.

Also, we're glad you appreciated the some of the more subtle aspects of the tour like the drink / snack stops. Plus you've got some great advice in hear!

Thanks again!
