We were lucky to visit on National Smithsonian Day when there was free admission. Fascinating peek into one homestead's history. Beautiful grounds, well preserved buildings and helpful knowledgeable volunteers. The highlight for me was seeing original artwork by Charles Bartlett. There is something for everyone, don't miss it. However it was very easy to miss from the road, almost drove past it.
