“Simplicity”

Our hotel (Marriott Kauai) was right along this beach. It is small and the water isn't as blue as other islands such as Maui. There is no snorkeling because it's very sandy in the water. You have the view of some vacation homes and mountains. This beach is nice if you enjoy simplicity.

“Sometimes less is better”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

This beach is not for everyone. There's no snorkeling because it's a sandy bottom. There are waves sometimes and sometimes it's very calm. We were staying at the Marriott so we were automatically going to be on this beach, but if you were staying elsewhere, it's a nice beach. There's a good grill and nice clean bathrooms. Lots of families there on the weekend and there are 2 volleyball courts as well.

“sweet little beach”

Lucky for us it was just outside the door, as we got to stay at the Marriott...but this is a nice beach for anyone...easy to get in and out, not crowded, beautiful setting...

“Nice little beach”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

We stayed at the Marriott, which fronts this beach. We enjoyed the quiet walks on it early in the morning before people started coming out. It can get a little crowded in the afternoon.
