Fresh & Delicious
We found the cafe very easliy, everything we ordered was fresh and prepared homemade. We ordered the Rosemary chicken wrap which was excellent, grits which were to die for, cornbread which was great, salmon croquettes which came with 2 sides with one being the most delicious sweet potato & delicious watermelon juice.
Don't stop here try the flour less chocolate cupcakes they were great.
Nice out door sitting in a lush backyard, owners were beyond nice gave my Grandson macaroons which of course he loved
Can't wait to come back again

Had an excellent lunch at the Greenery and will definitely be back. It is hard to find good, fresh, healthy lunch options in Kauai, especially Lihue, so this will be my new "go to" spot. We had the Rosemary chicken wrap which was filled with fresh vegetables, herbs, perfectly cooked chicken and quinoa. The proportions of the ingredients were perfect and the flavor excellent. I had one of the best Kale salads with tomatoes, basil, mint, parm, candied walnuts and a great dressing. Best Kale smoothie ever!! The raspberry lemongrass and basil mint iced teas were also very refreshing. The staff was wonderful, the setting so relaxing and the food definitely made with love. Can't wait to try some of the Southern food menu items.

A quaint little place behind the owners house. Smell was amazing as we walked up and the good was even better! Delicious rosemary chicken and excellent cornbread! The staff was extremely friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend this local spot to anyone visiting Kauai for a homemade authentic Hawaiian meal!

First off: This place is hard to find. It is located behind what looks like a residential building. Once you walk around the building you arrive at the restaurant.

You order in a window and they bring the food to you. While the food is prepared you notice it feels like you are sitting in a peaceful Hawaiian backyard. I say this is because you literally are in a backyard with trees & birds & flowers.

I ordered BBQ chicken. It comes with two veggie sides and corn bread.
The chicken tastes a bit like southern BBQ, a bit like Hawaiian Huli Huli chicken combined to create a unique dish. The veggies are well prepared. The corn bread is tasty corn bread.

While I'm eating the chef comes out to make sure I like the food. When I am finished he comes back with a scoop of ice cream. "Try this we just made it with fresh coconuts." It was delicious.

To sum it up: Reasonable price, pleasant outdoor seating, nice warm people and good organic food that has a distinct tasty flavor in a setting that you will only find in Hawaii.

This is a very nice change for Lunch Prospects in Lihue and Kauai overall! Nice people striving to please its hard to get REAL Vegetables at lunch on Kauai and even often at dinner also. They have a decent small but very tasty selection of vegetables with a soul food/southern flair to them. They rate high with me as most places I experienced in lunch visits on Kauai think Lettuce/Tomato is vegetables for your meal.i I am personally sick of rice and soy sauce related dishes what a nice change! They should do very well if they keep up the quality and attitude. They could use a Water Cooler (5 Gal Jug Filtered) outside for their customers to serve themselves water thus not have to wait on that.
