Hate to do this to the locals and add more tourist traffic but I must give Sergio and the team at Da Crack a shout out for making great food at a price that’s affordable. We’d actually eaten here 15 years ago on our first trip to Kauai for our honeymoon when it was Taqueria Norte with the nickname of Da Crack. The food was great then and after all these years, it still is. Fresh ono and ahi in a mixed plate was incredible and our daughter loved the cheese quesadilla. We skipped a lot of the big fancy places we'd planned to visit in Poipu to keep coming back to Da Crack, so much that Sergio started to recognize us. Big props for keeping this place alive and well!

This is a very small crack in wall restaurant with very good Mexican food. I would definitely recommend it.

Well reviewed so we thought we would give it a try. A whole in the wall..seriously...without even a bench to sit at...but, that is ok...expected from prior reviews. ALOT of food...very generous portions...in fact, our group felt that there was too much meat in the burritos...overpowered any other flavor. Not that cheap either...we ate at keoikis paradise for just $10 more and got drinks, service and atmosphere.

This is truly a hole in the wall. It's take out. You order from a window and wait standing around. I've eaten a lot of Mexican food growing up in Southern California. Da Crack serves good fresh food. It is not spectacular or truly unique. Our bill for eight came to about $65.00 with four drinks. I had the fish bowl which had something like cooked and seasoned Ono over brown rice and a small amount of coleslaw in a wasabi dressing. Not bad. Kept me full for 6 hours after doing two boat dives. I would eat here again, but not often.
