“rough for me-but worth it.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

As a fat guy in his fifties this was a bit of a challenge, I wanted to see the sunrise and I found so much more.

“Great walking trail”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

We spent a very enjoyable hour walking this trail. Some very beautiful scenery. Path can be a little hard to follow but even if you make a mistake you do eventually find the original trail.

“Beautiful and worthwhile...IF prepared with water”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Beautiful trail along undeveloped coastline. Took this with 3 of my kids ages 9, 12, and 15. We underestimated the need for water. If you tae the trail all the way to the sinkhole / cave...or final beach...as there is limited access to that location by any road...you will need to be prepared to hike back. So take plenty of water or you will be feeling scorched. Also...they apparently close up access to the sinkhole / cave at 4pm...so I would recommend getting there before then.

“Very nice hike and easy fantastic scenery!”

We parked by the stables and found our way to the trail, so beautiful in this area and few hikers. The history of the early settlers and caves are all on the free trail maps!

“Beautiful views and sea turtles!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

Great, easy hike with fabulous views. We stopped at the top of the cliffs just before the golf course and saw 15-20 sea turtles in the waters below. The trails definitely veer off from time to time, but the all end up back together further down. We stopped with a view of the beach, but didn't hike all the way to Maha'ulepu Beach, it was hot and we were ready to get back.
