“Great beach for littles!”
Review of Baby Beach

Baby Beach was a short walk from the condo we stayed at recently (Kuhio Shores) and was a perfect place to take our three grandchildren, all around 22 months. The ocean water there is 'waveless' (it is surrounded by a rock reef), shallow, and warm with a sandy bottom. Bring an umbrella as there is no shade. The beach is not that large, but we found that not many people visited there so we had lots of room. We loved going to Baby Beach as did our kids and grandkids.

This small but attractive beach is good for all ages for swimming and snorkelling. Parts of the beach are rocky or pebbly but you can find a sandy path in to the water which is also partly sandy. The fish were plentiful and colorful and different from the ones at Poipu Beach itself.

Right by Kuhio Shores Condos, where we stayed, and the Beach House Restaurant, where people gather for the sunsets. Not much shade, and can be windy.

No surprise but a very small beach. Close to good snorkeling. Saw a monk seal here which was fun. A bit hidden and off the beaten path. An easy walk from the Prince Kuhio park/Lawai road district.

Even though we didn't have kids with us we enjoyed watching the little ones playing in the sand and water. Nice safe area for kids!

This beach was very close to our house, so we spend a few days there. It is a small and very calm beach with very few waves. Very good for small children with adult supervision. There were turtles that swam into the cove and explored our family enjoying their habitat. There are lots of urchins and quite shallow water as you further out, so it can be kinda sketchy if you are walking on the rocks without protection.
