We arrived at our resort Friday night and were hungry, so we went accross the street to the Beach House Restaurant. As soon as we got there, we could tell it was an upscale restaurant. We were somewhat dissappointed because the prices were high and there was such a great view of the ocean, but we could only eat there for dinner 1 night. I ordered one of the catch of the day's it was mong chong, I got about 8 ounces of fish and a scoop of rice for $42. My wife ordered the seafood penne pasta and got a nice size portion. The food was good. We returned a couple nights later for drinks and appetizers. we got there around 8:45 PM and asked the bar tender if we could order soup and a salad. He checked and told us the kitchen was closed. This didn't sit well with us because dinners were still being served, and after we asked him the manager and a hostess sat down at the bar and got dinner served to them. I thought that was quite rude, the kitchen doesn't have to do much to scoop soup into a cup and put lettuce on a plate. So we took our business up the road where they would actually serve us food.
The crowd during dinner was quite pretentious, it seemed to be much more casual for lunch.
