“Fabulous Polynesian dance show on Tuesday's !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2011

At 5pm in the centre outdoor stage is a fabulous Polynesian dance show. I loved it the Tahitian dancers were amazing the whole thing was! It is free and 30 mins long at 5pm on tuesdays.

The village is very cute and in walking distance to my hotel in poipu which is a good thing because there is no parking. There is a free shuttle being run by a nice man that can take you to the village and to and from your hotel in poipu. I picked it up at the village and took it to my luau.

Be aware the shops in this village are pretty pricy .

“parking a problem”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2011

Parking can be a problem specially around dinner time although valet parking is available.
The open air mini strip mall houses local shops and restaurants. They also have free hula show in the afternoon. Im not sure if its just for the weekend or everyday.
The mini mart store here is like a 7-11 you can get all your beach supplies here.

“The excursions office at the Poipu Shopping Village”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2011

Across from the Starbucks at the Poipu Shopping Village is a little shop that advertises excursions on a placard outside their office, ziplining, kayaking, cruises, etc. After shopping in the Village, my brother-in-law and I returned to inquire about excursions for our group of 8. Since we had booked all our excursions through a similar shop the year before we decided to use this place since it was very close to where we were staying. We approached the man working there but were told very rudely that he didn't have time to assist us (we were the only ones there and he was "busy" writing on a whiteboard). But he said, if we wanted to buy a time share then he might be able to help us out. I don't own a business, but I think that if you advertise a product or service than it might be a good idea to actually do that.
P.S. My father did end up buying a time share...but not from them.

“Nice shopping center with nice restaraunts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2010

Keokies and Roys Restaraunts are here. Get here early because the parking lot fills up fast after sunset. There is not enough parking during peak dinner hours which is rediculous. Someone here did not do the math on capacity of the shopping center vs parking spots. There is a Whalers general store here. Also Sand People is a great gift, souvenier shop with lovely things.
