We visited this place last time here (2 years), good experiences both times. An open air restaurant, somewhat tropical, nice Tiki bar. Some annoying flies but nothing extraordinary. Early bird menu is nothing special- for $21 you get a half portion of what is normally $29 or so, do the math and there is no value here unless you are a light eater. Party of four with 4 drinks and two appetizers ran us $174. One of us had the ribs, just delicious (the waiter explained it it’s a two-day cooking process, is not smoked BBQ style). I had Opa for $29 and was surprised at the generous portion, and it was excellent. Our appetizers were smoked marlin and pork rolls, both very good. Draft beer was $6, decent wine pours at $8. No charge for non-alcohol refills. As for service, it was very good but beware, this place is all about efficiency. Drinks are dispatched by a separate crew and will arrive within 5 minutes. Appetizers arrived within 5 minutes as well. If you’re not careful, they’ll turn your table over in 30-40 minutes. You may therefore want to signal your waiter as to when to deliver your courses. Even after I gave the green light for dinner, it was on our tables in ten minutes. Granted, we were there early so when it gets busy, your stuff may come slower. Overall though, top notch service and very good-excellent food.
