We have been here several times and yes the Westin captive restaurants have a slightly higher price point but here is how we do it..... Order only from the starter menu which includes a generous Poke stack of the finest quality Ahi....if you have never had this island favorite its a great place to try sashimi.... Ahi has dark red color and occasionally cord or tendon which takes away from its tenderness.... Here you can always ask that be addressed....Next we have the risotto again a very generous portion that we share....and great island raised mushrooms and herbs....we add either a crab cake/scallop or a salad....the salads are expensive all over the island but this will leave room for the richest cheesecake over macadamian nut cookie topped with blueberries....Total bill less than $60 including a 20% tip......no ocean view until you walk the grounds after dinner...Aloha

We arrive there and sat on the outside terrace for my birthday. Our server Brian was so awesome he was very attentive and took care of everything we needed. I had the two choice entree a Demi portion of steak and fish both of which were amazing. The drinks were also so delicious! Thank Brian, Anna and everyone at Nanea for making my birthday perfect!

We went here for our anniversary. The ambiance was amazing. All staff were helpful and friendly. Service was quick. The food was absolutely delicious and while a bit expensive, it was reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth checking out!

Do not waste your money here. Likely the worst breakfast that we have had in a while. How can you go wrong with eggs?

After our unpleasant surprise at Bar Acuda (see separate review), who would think a Westin Time Share resort would be better food and better value?

We've had 3 meals here so far. Sunday Brunch was outstanding. For northern Kauai, $34 was actually a bargain, considering the choices offered. Chicken, prime rib, crab, steamed fresh Marlin, plus all the breakfast food you would expect.

We had dinner here on July 28. I had the five course Tasting Journey for $55. The dinner started with Salad with Kailani arugula, Mui onion, mozzarella. Second course is Short Rib Bao with Hoisin braised short ribs, bun, and salsa. Daily catch was Opah with a papaya salsa. 4th course is Prime Rib Bites. Desert was Pineapple Upside Down cake with ice cream. We understand $55 is not inexpensive, but for northern Kauai, the Tasting menu was good value.

My wife had the 3 course Hawaiian Menu starting with very good Ahi Poke (with wasabi aioli, guacamole, and won ton crisp), The second course was beef short rib. Dessert was chocolate cake with coconut ice cream. Considering the 3 course meal included a mix drink of choice, $40 again was very good value.

Service was outstanding for all three meals. Tonight, I only mentioned "Fish was fine but I would have cooked the fish less well done", and the restaurant manager and waitress insisted on doing the fish over for me (even after I said it was not necessary). The effort was well appreciated.

Good ingredients, well cooked, excellent service.
