We ate here a few times during our stay. Great for a quick and delicious lunch!
The tacos ate delicious and the shrimp plate was amazing. Salsas are fresh and delicious.
Very kid friendly, good for a quick meal or takeout.
This is a popular place with the locals as well on the island so there is always a bit of a wait but worth it. There is also ample seating outside.

We didn't expect to find good authentic Mexican food on a tropical island, but Federico's was just that. We had the enchilada wrap and a carne asada burrito. Both full of flavor as Mexican food should have. The guacamole is a must have. No inside dining, but there's tables outside in a covered central food court style area.

This isn't barrio food from the southwest so check your expectations at the door. The dishes offered here are more of a riff on classic Mexican mainstays rather than the authentic street food of its roots. Having said that I think that they are pulling it off well enough to have a steady stream of patrons who readily express satisfaction after diving into their meals. One guy was raving about his cheese quesadilla when we arrived stating he wanted to have it two days in a row. This is not a special occasion destination, but definitely a huge upgrade from fast food. We ordered the burrito special, the avocado salad special and an order of taquitos (about $35). Though this is way too much food for two people we were eager to sample several items. The very large cheese smothered burrito was delicious and flavorful. A trio of salsas (picante, verde and pico de gallo) allows one to augment the dishes if one is so inclined. The taquitos had an impressive presentation and were by far my wife's favorite item, once again what they call taquitos here bears little resemblance to mainland offerings. Tasty nonetheless. The salad was huge, delicious and a great way to have a flavorful dining experience with a healthier profile. We will return.
