From the start we knew something was off. Had a nice table with ocean view but menus arrive after you are seated which is strange cause you are not immediately greeted. Our waiter, Eric, provided horrible service and could barely hold a conversation and was not attentive whatsoever. Had to ask host for drinks that took forever. Food was mediocre and prices were outrageous. $76 for a piece of steak (sides are extra) and wasn't even very good. $16 for a salad that had lettuce & Avacados was ridiculous. I assume you are paying for the view since menu is seriously lacking. Ahi appetizer not good. Want some excellent ahi, get the ahi nachos at the Westin...those are the bomb! Kids food was just as bad. After we finally escaped the horrible service we went to get change at the hotel market and they refused to give us change for the valet guys. Daniella said she couldn't open the register...um how hard could it be? Concierge was no help either. Valet guys were awesome though and got a tip as it was deserved since they seem to be the only ones who know how to be serviceable and friendly. Will never go to st Regis for anything again!
