This is a restaurant not to be missed on the North shore - call ahead and book around one hour before sunset and you will not notice the food and service, which are pretty good, as you watch the sun traverse the mountains - it is amazing even for one that has been to 61 countries. The Sushi is excellent here. However, I do wonder who sticks with putting some of the main courses in soup bowls - we did that ten years ago, but today it is en passé. Some really fine china with a St Regis emblem on would be superb and the food warrants it. My pork was tasty, but on top of white beans everything looked very pale - needed a lift and to be out of the soup bowl. Your wallet will take a hit, but the wife or girlfriend will be impressed :-)

Came here for breakfast. While the view was amazing - the food was ok. It was a simple breakfast with not as much of a selection as I expected for the $35/per person price.

We have eaten at this spectacular restaurant before at the St. Regis. We even had a run in with 007 himself this time . The Ahi was fabulous while the Makana sushi roll as appetizer is highly recommended. Perfect view. The ultimate pictures of the sunset.

The view is world class. The brunch is amazing really. Quality unbelievable. They just added all you can drink mimosas too. Pricey for sure. Hope they still have it for my next trip. I'm so there.

The St. Regis has amazing views from this terrace, it's worth a visit just for that. Be sure to leave plenty of time as you won't want to rush. We had the Sunday brunch, which was pricey but not nearly as bad as feared. We then walked down towards the beach and pool, where we were able to sit and enjoy the ocean for several hours, ordering drinks from the pool side bar. The buffet was well appointed with lots of food options. While the selection was nice, the quality suffered just a tad (as almost all buffets do). But certainly still very enjoyable. Parking was valet, but aside from the tip it was free for visiting the restaurant! You'll need reservations, and then if you want to sit outside (which you do), you may have to wait after arriving. But worth the work and the money.
