This is a restaurant not to be missed on the North shore - call ahead and book around one hour before sunset and you will not notice the food and service, which are pretty good, as you watch the sun traverse the mountains - it is amazing even for one that has been to 61 countries. The Sushi is excellent here. However, I do wonder who sticks with putting some of the main courses in soup bowls - we did that ten years ago, but today it is en passé. Some really fine china with a St Regis emblem on would be superb and the food warrants it. My pork was tasty, but on top of white beans everything looked very pale - needed a lift and to be out of the soup bowl. Your wallet will take a hit, but the wife or girlfriend will be impressed :-)
