“Absolutely Awesome!”
Reviewed 5 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Located on the North side of the island as part of a resort community, this little gem of a getaway is a lovely retreat for anyone! This condo is well-appointed with pretty much everything you could want if you wished to stay in and cook. It also comes with some snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, beach towels and umbrella, and a cooler for picnics! There is a grocery store within easy walking distance, as well as a lovely park and resort shopping/dining. Lots of little shops for trinkets or island clothing and some great cafes for breakfast/lunch. Traffic is heavy no matter where you drive here, but pretty much everywhere you want to go on the island takes less that a couple of hours to get to, and there is always lots to see and stop for on the way! Jessica was very helpful and easy to work with in planning our trip, as well. Mahalo and Aloha!

“A wonderful time”

We stayed in a Paniolo apartment in Princeville. It was comfortable and well supplied with towels, snorkeling gear, and everything you need in the kitchen. There is one big double bed in the lIvins room and two singles upstairs. Warning: everything is open, no walls, so there is little bedroom privacy.
If you need help with anything, there is a very responsive caretaker nearby.
There is a beautiful pool and you can view the wild chickens from te balcony.
In short: I wish I was still there!

Bamboo Hale is the perfect location to enjoy all Kauai has to offer. The condo is nicely decorated, extremely comfortable and clean. There are many things to do within walking distance (Queen's Bath, St. Regis, Beaches, Dining, Zip Lining). I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

“The good, the bad, the ugly. ”

A quiet, affordable, getaway for two. I have no regrets. I would totally stay here again. I'll sum up my experience.

The good:
-Affordable.
-Great owner (provided great advice regarding "things to do" and was readily available to answer questions).
-Great location. A mile or so from queens bath.
-Clean and fun. The room was clean. A pool and BBQ is right out front.
-Beautiful. A walking path is nearby. You should walk to queens bath.
-A full kitchen. In my opinion you do not travel here for the food (exception being kalua pork!) so you can save money buying your own food.

The bad:
-Stay here in summer. In the winter the North shore can be rough.
-Terrible snorkel gear comes with the room. We ended up renting from a shop. No big deal as it was only $15.00.

The ugly:
-it's Kauai is anything ugly....? Highly recommend with my stamp of approval.

“Paradise at an Affordable price”

I came to Princeville for the Easter holiday and wanted a cozy condo to stay during my holiday. A friend told me about this Paniolo condo; they had stayed there and loved it. I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in the front door. It is well decorated and very clean. The lanai is lovely; it overlooks the golf course and the trail to Anini Beach. Sitting out on the Lanai was heaven listening to the birds and feeling the tropical breeze. It felt secluded as I never saw anyone pass by. The Princeville Shopping Center is across the street and across a park-there is a trail and takes about 5 minutes to walk. Foodland for food shopping, a wine store and plenty of restaurants, ice cream, shave ice and pizza along with gift shops for browsing. I loaded up on breakfast food, snacks and wine; the kitchen is well equipped. It was such a pleasure to have breakfast on the lanai and then at the end of the day enjoy a snack with a glass of wine on the lanai and enjoy the peace and quiet of wind rustling through the trees and the birds singing. The bed was really comfortable and the area was quiet at night. It is an easy walk to the Westin (there is a Starbuck's there!), the St. Regis (go for the amazing sunsets & drinks) & the beach there, Queens Bath, Hideaways Beach and Anini Beach. Hanalei is only a 10 minute drive. This was the perfect location, comfortable and fabulous price. I am definitely staying at this Paniolo condo for my next trip to Kauai.
