All the way around fantastic!! Very pleased that we chose to stay here. The grounds are lovely and set in the pines at the top of the little town. A historic building, you really feel like you are family as you cozy up to your neighbors on joint lanais and have a fantastic continental breakfast together (think family style bed and breakfast in a plantation style hotel). The owners are beyond friendly and accommodating and wear many hats it seems, and the staff was all wonderful. I have to give a special mention to their restaurant and chef. We had heard that it was a "gem" on the island of Lanai, and those were not lies. We ate there each night and were not disappointed. Their young chef (I believe she is 24) knows her stuff...and as a picky Italian/vegetarian, I can say she made me a happy camper BOTH nights and my gramma and great gramma would be proud of her Gnocchi making skills! Big alohas from our bigger/louder island for the whole Hotel Lanai staff!! We will be back. ;)
