My wife and I recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, and agreed the only place to do this was at our favorite B&B in the world, Haiku Plantation Inn, in our favorite place in the world, Maui.
Sandy, along with her husband John, did everything they could to make the week we spent on Maui our best vacation ever. Sandy prepared excellent, healthy, and very filling continental breakfasts. She was very knowledgeable about restaurants favored by locals and many activities on the island.
Our room (The Aloha Room) was nicely decorated and our bed was comfortable. This B&B advertises as “Maui's original and truly Hawaiian Bed and Breakfast Inn” and this is true without a doubt.
Due to licensing issues this B&B was closed for a couple of years; we are so glad Sandy was able to reopen. We would not have visited Maui if the Haiku Plantation Inn had not reopened as we do not like to stay at hotel chains that totally lack Hawaiian character.More
