“Gear was perfect!”
Reviewed 24 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The camping equipment provided was perfect for 2 people. The tent was easy to setup, the air mattress comfortable, and the blankets good for the weather. Enjoyed camping in the park - got to see a sunrise practically by ourselves and enjoyed the black sand beach without the crowds.

“Camping equipment provider was awesome.”

Unfortunately the Hana weather did not cooperate so we stayed In a local motel for the night. The park does not really have well prepared camp sites but beautiful. We came back the next day and did some hiking.

“Great Camping”
Reviewed 2 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

It was great to be able to rent camping gear in such an easy manner. The gear was just what was needed and was very clean and in great condition. We couldn't find last minute lodging in Hana so the camping allowed us to make an overnight trip. Michelle was very affable and easy to work witb.

Loved camping under the stars. Equipment was high quality, very comfortable and easy to use. Loved having the unique opportunity to spend to quiet nights at local state park in one of the most beautiful settings of n the world! Met lots of locals as well as other travelers from many lands. All were interesting friendly and expanded our experience! Thanks to Caming King and to Michaela

“Great gear and a perfect location”
Reviewed 15 February 2017 for a stay in January 2017

After driving the road to Hana, the night under the stars was a perfect end! Picking up our camping gear was made easy by Michella and it included absolutely everything you need for a night or 2. Very comfy air matress, good size tent, chairs and a cooler just to name a few.

The national park is also amazing. The caves were a little bit disappointing but overall it is definitely something I would recommend to do rather than journey the long winding road back in the same day.

“A must do experience”
Reviewed 8 December 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We are not campers so needless to say we were excited and nervous to try. This service is awesome. She provides everything you need to camp the night for a very reasonable fee and is flexible with the pick up and drop off. We were able to take our time on the road to Hana and on the crazy way back the other (under)side of the island! Tent was easy to assemble and take down(although putting it back into its case was a lil challenging). And it held up to pouring rain and howling wind all night. Everything was in very good to new looking condition. It was great to have the beach and campground to ourselves (besides few other campers) in the morning. Wild mongoose stay away for the most part but dont leave food out. Doesnt get too cold even with the rain and wind. The whole experience was great and this rental service was super convenient. Thanks Michella! Highly Recommend!

“Great camping experience!”
Reviewed 9 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We decided instead of doing the Road to Hana and returning in one day, that we would make a mini trip out of it and camp overnight in Hana. Michella made herself available to come pick up the camping equipment at any time convenient to me, and we dropped it back off when we got back from Hana the next day. All of the equipment was in perfect (it looked new) condition, the tent was easy to set up, and she even let us borrow a Road to Hana guidebook to read along the way. There were a couple of downpours overnight and the tent kept us perfectly dry. I would recommend this equipment rental to anyone who is thinking about spending the night in Hana.

Make sure you note- you also have to get a permit from the state to camp at the park (which was very easy, and Michella made sure I was aware of when I booked the equipment). The park was very nice, with toilet/outdoor shower, a beautiful black sand beach, grassy area to set up the tent, and some coal or wood grills to cook on.
