Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: Riding the Fishpipe feels like sliding down a water slide for over 1/4 of a mile. Over 100,000 people have ridden the Fishpipe in Hawaii. Only 15 Fishpipes in the world. The Fishpipe was created by the New Zealand brothers that brought Zorbing to the world 20 years ago. No ride like it in the world. Check out the videos on You Tube.

“Before you got used to it, it was over”
Reviewed 12 March 2013

This is a great idea and a novel ride, but it is way too short. Even when no one was waiting in line and no one was even around, they gave us about a one minute ride.

“Lots of fun!”
Reviewed 4 January 2013

The fish pipe is a novel idea: water is piped in while the rider slips and slides within the rotating ball, simulating a mile-long water-slide. This ride would be way better if the ride was longer or cheaper: $15 for one minute is a bit steep.

“kids loved it”
Reviewed 26 October 2012

The kids could not get enough of this ride. Located currently at the Grand Wailea. Met the owner/inventor - he was awesome, there are only a few of these in the world. Speed can be adjusted up or down, small amount of fresh water for each rider. Can ride up to 3 at a time. They are starting to do your video now which will be fun. Music is playing while you ride. Check it out.

“Fun and Different activity”
Reviewed 30 July 2012

This is a ride that simulates a waterslide. You get inside a ball that is inside of a ball with about 15 gallons of water. The ball then spins, you can control how fast or how slow you have tohe operator spin the ball. As the ball spins you can sit and slide, lay on your stomach, stand up (or at least try too), do flips, pretty much waterever you want to try. Overall it is a very fun experience. My 5 year old grandson went on it and was a little nervous at first butby the time the ride was over, he wanted to go again. It is priced reasonably (and we found discount coupons at the shops right next door). The operator was very friendly and helpful. It may look a little intimidating at first but it really is a blast and a nice little diversion on a hot day in Maui.
