We stayed in the cottage and were delighted with everything - the grounds are beautiful, the place was spotless and the owners were attentive and generous.

We were so amazed at the attention to detail at this charming Inn. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well decorated. We stayed in the Makena Rm upstairs and loved the privacy of the lanai where we had bkfast each morning ( thanks to a well stocked fridge) and watched the sunset every evening. You will not find landscaping more lush and well taken care of. Its like your own private botanical garden. The salt water pool area is a tropical oasis that makes leaving for sight seeing extremely difficult. Mark was very helpful with local info and even provided us with a cd guide for our Road to Hana trip. He and Steve have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable. Can't wait to return.

Pineapple Inn was one of our favourite stays on Maui - Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious, the fridge was very well stocked for breakfast and the owner Mark could not have been more helpful to us - even offering us extra food for our bbq one evening! The pool and gardens are lovely, so much so that we didn't even go to the beach but stayed by the pool all day - it was so tranquil that you didn't need to go anywhere else! And we topped the day off by watching the sunset from the hot tub!
If you want a more personal, quiet stay than the big condos and resorts in Kehei, then this is the place for you!

I would highly recommend this B&B! Beautiful landscaping, Clean, quiet rooms, convenient location (close to beach, shopping, restaurants). This unconventional B&B (where they stocked the fridge with breakfast foods & you could eat at your leisure) worked perfect for us since we like to get up early & go snorkeling, hiking, or exploring! Mark & Steve were great - giving us good advise on restaurants & snorkeling spots. The pool & hot tub were clean and always perfect temp. Would definately stay here again!

Room Tip: Makena room has awesome view of ocean.

Pineapple Inn is graced by the hard work and commitment of Steve and Mark to make this Inn the best in the area. And by all means they succeed by going out of their way to meet your needs, maintaining well-appointed and clean rooms, stocking the refrigerator with breakfast items, providing advice and supplying beach items. The only downside beyond their control is proximity to the highway which transmits nearly constant road noise to our second floor room when the door to the lanai and windows are open. Though unavoidable, this feature alone keeps this reviewer from giving a rating of 5 in all categories.

Our stay at the Pineapple Inn was awesome. We have stayed in both the individual rooms and the cottage. Both of them were great. The bathrooms in the individual rooms have very big showers and plenty of counter space. The rooms are good size too and very clean. The cottage is wonderful with two bedrooms and a wonderful lanai. The gardens are beautiful and I loved the salt water pool and hot tub. We were close to the beach and the shops at Wailea. I recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone I know going to Maui.

We returned to the Pineapple Inn for our seventh visit and found it to be everything - and more - than it was on our very first visit. We stay in the cottage because we enjoy having family, friends and locals stop by for drinks and food or just to visit. Mark and Steve and their friends always make us feel special, even though we have been back so many times. As I said above, it does not get any better than that! And, again this year, we made many new friends as they came and went during our stay. Some of these folks have become a part of our lives.

Our accommodations and the grounds are always impeccable. Watching the sunset most every night from the hot tub with a glass of wine with good friends can't be beat. And, honestly, we simply do not find the road noise we have read about in some other reviews to even be a small blip on our radar; it is simply inconsequential...at least to us.
