This is a local success story. We had been told by several people that we simply HAD to go and eat at Sansei... being sushi lovers, we decided to give it a go. The food is good. Understand, we have eaten sushi from some of the BEST west coast restaurants around so perhaps we're just a wee bit jaded. The tuna sashimi was nice and deep red but the texture was just a tiny bit tough for our taste. We sat at the bar and were somewhat disappointed that our chef seemed to genuinely dislike his job and couldn't be bothered talking to us... not all of the chefs were like that but unfortunately, ours was and he really kind of put a damper on our meal. Nice specialty rolls but it's an expensive feed and honestly, not really worth the price. Probably wouldn't eat there again unless we were staying in the area for a month or more and were starved for sushi.
