We stayed in a one-bedroom condo, on the second floor, with a balcony facing the beach and pool. It is not luxury by any standards, however, and the interior construction and materials are shoddy. That being said, the appliances, TV, wifi and air-conditioning functioned well, the kitchen is reasonably well-equipped (although it could use some sharpened knives), there were plenty of linens (and the community supplies towels.) The condo community also provides lounge chairs, a fenced-in small swimming pool, and a few activities during the week for residents. The lawn from the building to the beach was well-maintained. There are no elevators, parking is on the street side of the building, and the steps to upper levels are only at the two ends and middle of a relatively long building.
We were not particulary enamored of the beach in this stretch of Kihei, either - it was narrow, with coarse reddish sand, and rocks aplenty.
The rental agents for the property were friendly, helpful, accommodating.
