Traded for a week stay here. Facilities were nice. People were friendly but only one towel exchange during our week. Didn't remove trash you were suppose to separate and do yourselves. Unusual for a condo group. I find Kihei to be to busy for my taste. Prefer other areas on Maui.

While not on the beach, the Aston Maui Banyon is right across from a very nice beach. The staff was very friendly. The suite was spacious and well stocked. The style is a bit old-fashioned, but in good condition. There is access to free, current DVD rentals through DVDNow. I recommend this location.

Was quite satisfied with the room, well equipped full kitchen, also had washer & dryer in the unit. Had partial ocean view from the lanai, although much of the view is blocked by trees on the west side of S. Kihei Rd. Some traffic noise (building "F") but not noticeable when balcony doors are closed. (Unit is air conditioned).

Anyone considering a rental here should be aware of the US$ 18.- per day amenity fee.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

For beach access at Kamaole Beach Park II you have to cross S. Kihei Rd, but there are crosswalks close by.

Room tip: Building "F" (2 floors) has no elevator.

Even after an issue with an unwelcomed mouse on the day we arrived from the garden. We were given a great room from reception in moving to another. Great staff, right across from the beach. Pool was relaxing and a swim at 9pm was a hit. Even a game of tennis on the courts within the premises was nice. Will be back.

We went for a weekend getaway to Maui and stayed at the Aston at the Maui Banyan. It was a nice place to stay in Kihei for a pretty reasonable price. Thee are 2 pools, ample parking, tennis courts, and it's right across from the beach. The housekeeping staff was great and the amenities were very nice. Wouldn't mind staying here again.
