“Beautiful location, pretentious guides”
Reviewed 31 December 2013 via mobile

The farm itself is beautiful and a nice escape from a holiday on the beaches of Maui, but that is where the positives run out. Other than the master barista who gave an informative and engaging talk on coffee production and roasting, the employees of the farm were dismissive, pretentious, and downright rude to some of the younger kids who asked questions. Rather than passionate tour guides, most employees made us feel we were an annoying hindrance or necessary evil to their biodynamic existence. Worst of all they ran out of food and we all left hungry! You'll be happier spending your morning on the beach.

“Not kid friendly”
Reviewed 31 December 2013

We took our three kids to the farm. This experience is not for kids at all. There was not enough food for everybody.

The highlight of the tour was the guy roasting coffee. He was very friendly and informative.

“Fun and delicious true farm-table experience”
Reviewed 28 December 2013

A guided tour of the farm followed by a fresh cooked food grown on the farm. The chef cooks the food in the outdoor kitchen. It is a great learning experience with excellent food supporting local farms hence a way to contribute to local business.

“Unique experience”
Reviewed 8 November 2013 via mobile

Went on a tour of the O'o Farm in Kula HI. Not knowing what to expect, we drove up the mountain and got to the farm. The great staff took us to show us the farm, crops and compost beds. Then we went to lunch in the outdoor dining room, met the chef and he explained everything we were going to eat. Items from this farm go to the two restaurants that the owners run. The gourmet lunch was delicious, great wine, ice tea with natural sugar from the sugar cane that is grown on the farm. The experience was one of the best I had on my visit to Hawaii

“Great Experience Great Food”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

This is a hour and a half tour of an organic produce farm in a small group setting, followed by a sit down lunch served outdoors with the ingredients you just helped pick. We had fifteen people on the tour today and we met most of them. You can bring a bottle of wine to have with your lunch and it seemed everyone did. This farm supplies much of the produce for Pacific'O and I'O restaurants in Lahaina, Maui. Your meal is prepared in an outdoor kitchen with a chef that is more than willing to have you in his kitchen to ask questions and observe. We have eaten at both of the restaurants and wanted to see their farm. It did not disappoint. I recommend this for couples. I think it would not be suitable for children. You will do some hiking at 3500 feet.
