“A wonderful and unique garden-to-table dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 January 2014

if you are a gardener or a foodie, this is a place for you to spend few hours while staying on Maui. Touring the garden, picking vegatables and mixed greens to be served at lunch -- a wonderful and unique garden-to-table dining experience. The freshly prepared lunch was absolutely delicious.

Note that this educational tour of the garden in the high country is wet, so unless you want wet feet, bring closed-toe shoes, and perhaps a light rain jacket.

Would definitely go there again, and recommend it to others.

“Wonderful Tour; Great Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 January 2014

This is a very different and wonderful Maui experience. The farm is organic and (to some degree) bio-dynamic. The explanations were clear and very informative. The whole process was engaging, the setting beautiful, and the meal divine. The chef was also very engaging, giving very full explanations of his processes and showing those who were interested what he was doing and how he was doing it. I am not a coffee drinker, but the opportunity to see coffee growing, have the roasting process explained and then the opportunity to taste (and buy the beans) was a highlight for my wife (who is a coffee drinker).

“Beautiful location, pretentious guides”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 December 2013 via mobile

The farm itself is beautiful and a nice escape from a holiday on the beaches of Maui, but that is where the positives run out. Other than the master barista who gave an informative and engaging talk on coffee production and roasting, the employees of the farm were dismissive, pretentious, and downright rude to some of the younger kids who asked questions. Rather than passionate tour guides, most employees made us feel we were an annoying hindrance or necessary evil to their biodynamic existence. Worst of all they ran out of food and we all left hungry! You'll be happier spending your morning on the beach.

“Not kid friendly”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 December 2013

We took our three kids to the farm. This experience is not for kids at all. There was not enough food for everybody.

The highlight of the tour was the guy roasting coffee. He was very friendly and informative.

“Fun and delicious true farm-table experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 December 2013

A guided tour of the farm followed by a fresh cooked food grown on the farm. The chef cooks the food in the outdoor kitchen. It is a great learning experience with excellent food supporting local farms hence a way to contribute to local business.
