Very creative ideas to display plants. Enjoy local plants and flours. Peaceful place to sit and relax. Gift shop is a little high priced.

“A beautiful garden in the making”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

The gardens are being worked on but have great potential. There are some beautiful sections but other sections need more work.
Bathroom facilities are good and the cafe serves good food and smoothies. Breakfast and lunch available, reasonably priced.

“Better choices”
Reviewed 16 July 2013

After reading other reviews, we were very disappointed in these botanical gardens. Supposedly they had done a lot of renovating and cleaning up of the grounds but the area still looked sad. There were no signs attached to most of the plants, so we had no idea what we were looking at most of the time. The Tropical Gardens of Eden near the Iao Needle is far better for one's money.

“A hidden gem.”
Reviewed 18 June 2013 via mobile

We turned into this garden after a long morning and early afternoon in Haleakala. Mom said Kula is where everything grows to provide Maui so we took a little detour and went to Kula. This garden is awesome! This quait garden has everything you want to see in a tropical garden. It has so many different kinds of plant, some of which are not tropical. It is bigger than you thought.
The cafe is really good. Our wraps even have alfalfa sprouts in them.
Make sure you talk to the manager at the cafe. He is really nice and friendly and trying to give you discount.
Loved it!

“Beauty and Tranquility with Splashes of Color”
Reviewed 12 June 2013

My husband and I just visited the Enchanting Floral Gardens for the first time in 14 years. I was saddened when I had heard that they had closed. Well, the new owners (we met three -- Richard, Nancy and Claudia) have done a splendid job of clearing, revitalizing, sprucing up and reinventing the ol' place. There is a lovely little gift shop and cafe with wonderful food prepared by Cafe Manager/Chef Lori LaFontaine. The Chicken BLT on a croissant was yummy! The stroll through the gardens was a nostalgic walk down memory lane for us. The 1500 species of plants were awesome. There are three charming gazebos, several ponds and 11 fun cutout photo op (stick your face through the hole) things. We saw several plants that look like movie props for Jurassic Park and Harry Potter. Some of the flowers were so beautiful that I took many photographs so I would not forget their intense colors or unusual shapes. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this to everyone who visits here or everyone like me, who is lucky to live on Maui.
